There are so many individuals engaged in caregiving in our community, from volunteers and social workers to doctors and nurses. Every day we serve families who have experienced their care in some manner. Every day we hear stories about the exceptional care they have received in so many ways.
— Scott Meierhoffer

For 125 years, the Meierhoffer Family has served the families of Northwest Missouri.  We understand that providing the best quality of care for our families encompasses more than just the funeral.  We make every effort to help families with important decisions before the funeral and to offer support in their grief journey beyond the funeral service.  It is this commitment to care that has brought Meierhoffer to the forefront in the end-of-life continuum of care.

We have worked hard to establish relationships with caregivers and their organizations in an effort to bridge the gap between the health care community, the funeral home and those we both serve.  Our continuing education programs offer meaningful information to caregivers to help them serve their families better.  Our other educational programs offered bring together end-of-life care organizations in a collaborative effort to provide quality programs for all of the families we serve.

The Compassion Point is designed to be a resource for caregivers throughout Northwest Missouri regarding end-of-life care.
